Site Enchancements
The variable locator tool has been updated to provide the user with more information about the types of variables that are available on both public access and data center files.

New Summary Data Tables
National household estimates of health care expenses, medical conditions, quality of health care, and access to medical care have been tabulated and are now available for year 2009. Check for the "C" icon near the table which will indicate whether that table may be modified for those who want to build their own tables by selecting different population, age range, health insurance status, or perceived health status criteria.

The Insurance Component portion of MEPS introduces a new series of tables providing national civilian estimates in both the private and state/local government sectors and by census division. These tables are available from 2008 to 2010. For more information, go to Civilian Data by Private and State/Local Government Sectors and Census Division.

Analytical Tools
MEPSnet/HC has been updated with 2009 data. This online query tool gives users interactive access to national estimates in MEPS without having to download data files and use statistical programming software.
