This Statistical Brief focuses on adults 18 and older who received some medical care in 2014. Persons who have multiple chronic conditions—those who were treated for two or more conditions on that list during 2014 are compared to those who, while they had medical care, reported use associated with only one or no conditions on that list. Adults without health care use in 2014 (about 15 percent of the population) are excluded from the analysis. |
