Data Collection Chart

The chart displays the timing and relationship between panels, rounds, and calendar years.

The data collection by panel/round:

Panel 23 consists of three rounds of interviews in 2019 (Rounds 3-5), two rounds of interviews in 2020 (Rounds 6 and 7) and three rounds of interviews in 2021 (Rounds 7-9).
Panel 24 consists of nine rounds of interviews; with Rounds 1-3 providing data for 2019, Rounds 3-5 providing data for 2020, Rounds 5- 7 providing data for 2021, and Rounds 7-9 providing data for 2022.
Panel 25 consists of five rounds of interviews; with Rounds 1-3 providing data for 2020 and Rounds 3-5 providing data for 2021.
Panel 26 consists of five rounds of interviews; with Rounds 1-3 providing data for 2021 and Rounds 3-5 providing data for 2022.
Panel 27 consists of three rounds of interviews in 2022 (Rounds 1-3).

The data collection by year:

Year 2019 consists of data collected from Rounds 3-5 of Panel 23 and Rounds 1-3 of Panel 24. The sample size for 2019 was 27,648 persons with a positive weight on the file.
Year 2020 consists of data collected from Rounds 6 and 7 of Panel 23, Rounds 3-5 of Panel 24 and Rounds 1-3 of Panel 25. The sample size for 2020 was 26,847 persons with a positive weight on the file.
Year 2021 consists of data collected from Rounds 7-9 of Panel 23, Rounds 5-7 of Panel 24, Rounds 3-5 of Panel 25, and Rounds 1-3 of Panel 26. The sample size for 2021 was 27,332 persons with a positive weight on the file.
Year 2022 consists of data collected in Rounds 7-9 of Panel 24, Rounds 3-5 of Panel 26, and Rounds 1-3 of Panel 27. The sample size for 2022 has not yet been determined
