Restricted-activity days provide an indication of the burden of illness in the workplace and in school. With a greater understanding of the variation of this burden among groups, policymakers, and health care providers may be better informed. The age group 16-24 had the lowest percentage of people with workdays lost due to illness, injury, or mental or emotional problems in the working-age population; 29.3 percent of people aged 16-24 had workdays lost. |
