Released as SAS, SPSS, STATA, and R programming statements, an ASCII data file, a SAS transport data file, a SAS V9 data file, an Excel file, and a Stata data file, the 2024 Full Year Consolidated Public Use File (PUF) provides information collected from a nationally representative sample of the civilian noninstitutionalized population of the United States for calendar year 2024. These data were collected during Rounds 3-5 of Panel 28 and Rounds 1-3 of Panel 29, corresponding to the rounds for the MEPS panels covering calendar year 2024. This PUF contains all the person-level variables related to survey administration, demographics, person-level priority conditions, patient satisfaction, health status, disability days, quality of care, Self-Administered Questionnaire (SAQ), Cancer Self-Administered Questionnaire (CSAQ), food security (FS), financial well-being (FW), Economic Self-Administered Questionnaire (ESAQ ), access to care, employment, income, health insurance, health care utilization, and health care expenditures by event type and source of payment.
