Using data from the Insurance Component of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS-IC), this Statistical Brief discusses changes between 1998 and 2004 in the availability of and enrollment in employer-sponsored health insurance plans that required no employee contribution to the plan premium. The estimates shown look at both single and family coverage in the private sector of the economy. Changes for employees working for small and large firms are also analyzed. |
