Printing tips
This public use release is one in a series of public use event files drawn from the 2016 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) Household (HC) and Medical Provider Components (MPC). This release contains 2 data files each of which is provided as an ASCII file with SAS, SPSS, and STATA programming statements and as a SAS transport file. File 1 is used for linking the MEPS 2016 condition file (HC-190) with the MEPS 2016 event files (HC-188A through HC-188H); File 2 is used for linking the MEPS 2016 prescribed medicines event file (HC-188A) with other 2016 event files.
