   Chronic conditions and obesity affect the health and well-being of many Americans. This Research Findings uses 2022 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey Household Component data to produce nationally representative prevalence estimates of having either chronic conditions or obesity for adults in the U.S. civilian noninstitutionalized population. The combined prevalence of having either chronic conditions or obesity for adults is examined by age, sex, health insurance, poverty, region, and Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
