This Statistical Brief presents information on the frequency and cost of single and family employer-sponsored health insurance coverage in the private sector as a whole, and for small and large employers. The data for this brief are derived from the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey- Insurance Component (MEPS-IC), an annual survey of employers which collects information about employer-sponsored health insurance. The MEPS-IC survey is sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and conducted by the United States Census Bureau. |
