This public use data file contains jobs-level data from the 2019 Medical Expenditure Panel Survey Household Component (MEPS-HC). Released as an ASCII file (with related SAS, SPSS, STATA, and R programming statements), a SAS transport file, a SAS V9 file, an XLSX file, and a Stata file, this public use file provides information collected on a nationally representative sample of the civilian noninstitutionalized population of the United States during the calendar year 2019. The file contains job-level information collected in Round 3-5 for Panel 23 and Rounds 1-3 for Panel 24 of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (i.e., the rounds for the MEPS panels covering calendar year 2019); it includes variables pertaining to household-reported jobs, including wages, hours, industry, and occupation.
