Released as an ASCII file with SAS, SPSS, STATA, and R programming statements, a SAS transport file, a SAS V9 file, a XLSX file, and a Stata file, this public use file contains data on 9,848 households who participated in the Household Component of the Medical Expenditure Panel Survey (MEPS) in 2022. These households received a positive family-level weight and were part of one of the three MEPS panels for whom food security data were collected during Round 8 of Panel 24, Round 4 of Panel 26, and Round 2 of Panel 27. This file can be linked to the 2022 Full-Year Consolidated Data File using the variables DUID and RULETR42 to obtain additional data for the families included in this file. The reference person of the RU can be identified in the Full-Year Consolidated Data File by the variable REFPRS42.
